It seems, that there is a problem with the WSE 3.0 Add-In for Visual Studio, installed on my Windows XP German Edition.
After installing WSE 3.0 with "Visual Studio Developer" option, the "WSESettingsVS3.Addin" was placed into "\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\Addins" where it could not be found by Visual Studio 2005.
After copying it to "\Dokumente und Einstellungen\[CurrentUser]\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\Addins" everything worked fine.
Web Service Enhancements 3.0 have been released.
Finally I received my MDA Pro. Powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0:
At first glance a huge device, but until now I carried a mobile phone and a PDA with me. So it seems to be an advancement to have it combined in one.
Hope to find the time to tell you more about my experiences with it (and hopefully a lot of positive aspects).
Today I went to the Microsoft Technical Summit Tour 2005 to take an "update" for all the new Microsoft developer products coming at the end of this year.
I decided to visit the tracks about "Team Foundation Server", "Web Services 2.0", "ASP.NET 2.0 High Performance", "Windows Mobile 5.0" and "Click Once Deployment".
Altogehter the topics were well balanced and the speakers did a good job (may result by experience, to whom you'll be "attracted" ;) )
A big compliment to Frank Fischer, who did a fabulous and very entertaining Keynote and Closing Session ("What got spam filters todo with AIDS"). Interesting, where Microsoft is involved all about.
Nice to meet a lot of people, especially a "Delphi renegade" (but confidentially: I keep your secret, Ralf K********* ;) )
Because it's a sophisticated task to separate private, business and even more the semiprivate related topics, I decided to start a new Blog from apart of my company.
And to accommodate my international intentions I will write from now on in english (harder for me, harder for you ;) ).
